JIZAING is a combination of the word “JIZAI,”
which means “to be free and flexible,” and the present participle “-ING.”

BRAND

JIZAING INDEN

JIZAING✕INDEN was born from a collaboration between Inden-ya Uehara Yushichi, a company that has inherited and continues to develop the treasured family tradition of Inden art, and JIZAING, a company devoted to introducing traditional Japanese artisanship to modern lifestyles.
Since inventing the unique technique of decorating deerskin with lacquer in 1582, Inden-ya Uehara Yushichi has beguiled many people with the delicate shine of lacquer that is the very essence of Koshu Inden.
The combination of supple deerskin and exquisite lacquer patterns will inspire those who seek the authentic, while JIZAING✕INDEN’s touch of playful spirit will enrich your personal style.
